The Knife City DVD dramatises the risks and consequences of carrying a knife in a way that makes an impact on teenagers.  These resources can be used in the classroom to tackle issues such as knife carrying and violence and enable young people to make safe choices.

‘Its Jist for Protection’ is an improvised performance that allows youngsters to explore the issues and consequences associated with carrying knives. It is important to raise awareness of the dangers of knives and to change attitudes towards the culture of violence that blights many of our communities.

 

You can also download sections from the Citizenship and the Law package which deals with a number of key violence related topics targeted towards specific age groups.

Project U-Turn is an 8 week programme working with young people who have been referred to the Youth Justice Team in South Lanarkshire as a result of their violent offending. The programme uses drama and arts to work innovatively to challenge thinking, attitudes and behaviour and increase self awareness in an effort to reduce offending.
